Using color as a narrative device, this project explores red and its ties to blossoming femininity. Through facing societal pressure and gendered stereotypes from a young age, those who are born female tend to experience a tortured pressure to perform. Highlighting this performance inherently comes with the tension of rebellion. A chance to confuse the comforted with the natural feminine.
